Scope

The College of Nursing and Midwifery (CONM) at Obaid Noor Institute of Medical Sciences (ONIMS), Manwali, is affiliated with the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and recognized by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council and the Nursing Examination Board Punjab, Lahore. Dedicated to excellence in education and training, CONM offers both degree and diploma programs tailored for fresh pre-medical students as well as continuing education opportunities for diploma-holding nurses working in the healthcare field. The college is committed to producing competent, ethical, and compassionate nursing professionals to meet growing healthcare demands. Currently, CONM-ONIMS offers a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a 2-year Post RN degree. The BSN program is designed for students who have completed F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks and aims to equip them with critical nursing knowledge, clinical decision-making skills, and patient care competencies. Through classroom instruction, lab-based training, and clinical rotations, students are prepared to address real-world healthcare challenges. Graduates of the program are well-positioned to serve their communities and elevate healthcare standards in Manwali and beyond.
